An excellent condition early Selmer 10S Bb clarinet, which was recently taken in part exchange by Clarinets Direct. This instrument has been professionally played & owned and used nightly for a show in London's West End. The Selmer 10 series was the first major model manufactured by Selmer to adopt a small bore undercut design, in the Buffet Crampon manner.
This Bb, S/N A8650, dates to the 1980 and has Silver plate, in fine condition throughout, with the exception of the rear thumb bush, which shows slight wear, see photo 11. The clarinet has had an overhaul, as necessary, in our workshop, with any worn pads replaced. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, which is in excellent condition. All pieces are original, and have matching stamps. There are two supplied barrels of 64.5mm and 66.5mm. The m'piece is a used Howarth in good condition. The original case is again in good condition.
