MATCHED PAIR OF BOOSEY AND HAWKES SYMPHONY 1010 CLARINETS, £1395

A superb condition pair of B&H 1010's which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. These instruments were part of the collection of Paul Willey's late father. Paul is a well known violinist, formerly the leader of the Ulster Orchestra, BBC Welsh Orchestra, and associate leader of the CBSO. The instruments have had only one careful owner.
The Bb, serial no. 260510, has no cracks or repairs. The Silver plate throughout is pristine. The pair have just been completely overhauled in finest Pisoni Tan leather pads, and unusually for a commission sale, they are sold with the full Clarinets Direct 1 year warranty and return policy. The A, serial no. 250117, has no cracks or repairs. The Silver plate throughout is in excellent shape, and the instrument is in near mint condition. There are 2 barrels of 64.5mm and 62.5mm. The supplied m'piece is a brand new Boosey & Hawkes No. 2, which was part of the Willey collection. The case is the original in fair condition,the interior is excellent without stains, but there are some scuffs, and streaks to the exterior.
