MATCHED PAIR OF BOOSEY AND HAWKES SYMPHONY IMPERIAL 1010 CLARINETS, £1345

A matched pair of B&H 1010's which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. Their current owner has recently bought a more modern pair of 1010s. This pair date to 1960, and are pre Acton patent vent models. The Bb, with matching serial nos. 183978, has Silver plate throughout in good condition, what wear there is is mainly to the pillars, and the tenon rings which show some tarnish. There are no cracks or damage to the wood which is excellent throughout. The pads are all tan leather, which were all recently replaced, so these are in excellent used condition. The A, matching serial nos. 183986, has, like the Bb, used tan leather pads in good condition. The Silver plate throughout is in good shape, again with most wear to the pillars. The wood is crack and repair free. There are 2 barrels of 64.5mm and 62.5mm. The supplied m'pieces are a modern 1010 copy, which is, again, in good used condition, and an original older B&H 1010 No.2. The case is the original, which has been re-lined, and protects the pair well.
