A matched pair of B&H Symphony 1010 clarinets which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct.
These instruments were formerly owned and played by Dave Rix, Principal Clarinet of the City of London Sinfonia.
The instruments have very good condition tan leather pads throughout. All are sealing well and will be good for many years to come.
The Bb, matching serial nos. 422315, has Silver plate throughout in very good order,
with only one tiny patch of wear to the Ab/Eb key.
There is no damage to the wood, which is good throughout,
with no cracks or repairs. There are 2 original B&H barrels, one of 62mm
and the other of 64mm.
The A, matching serial nos. 417521, is in excellent conditon.
The Silver plate is pristine throughout. Again there are no cracks or damage to the wood.
The supplied m'pieceas are a B&H 1010 No. 2,
which is in fair used condition, with some discolouration to the ebonite,
and a like new Pillinger, stamped DA123.
The case is a used Orly, with some exterior scuffs and interior stains.
