MATCHED PAIR OF BOOSEY AND HAWKES SYMPHONY IMPERIAL 1010 CLARINETS, £1445

A very fine pair of B&H 1010's which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, and have had only one owner from new. They date to 1959, and are pre Acton patent vent models. The instruments have just been down to our workshop for a thourough "check down", and complete regulation. The Bb, with matching serial nos. 174915, has Silver plate throughout is in very good condition, apart from the tenon rings to the barrel which show some tarnish. There are no cracks or damage to the wood which is excellent throughout. The pads are all tan leather in good used condition. The A, matching serial nos. 180035, has, like the Bb, used tan leather pads in good condition. The Silver plate throughout is in excellent shape, again the wood is crack and repair free. There are 2 barrels of 64.5mm and 62.5mm. The supplied m'piece is a Peter Eaton, 1010 1.25 which is, again, in good used condition. The case is the original, which is well used, though still fully functional.
