A fine pair of B&H Symphony 1010 clarinets which were selected from the Edgware factory
new in 1969 by the late Gervase de Peyer for their original purchaser. They have only ever had one professional owner, and have been very well cared for.
The instruments have tan leather pads
throughout, which are a mixture of new and old. All are sealing well and will be good for sometime to come.
The Bb, matching serial nos. 318256, has no wear to the Silver plate, but there is some slight darkening
and tarnish commensurate with the age of the clarinet. There is no damage to the wood, which is in fine order throughout.
The A, matching serial nos. 318245, has Silver plate in fine order, and again no cracks or damage to the wood.
All pieces are matching and original.
There are 2 barrels of 64.5mm and
62.5mm. The supplied m'pieces are a B&H 1010 No. 2,
which is in fair used condition, with some discolouration to the ebonite, and a well used Peter Eaton
1010 m'piece.
The case is a BAM original, which is in good condition.
