MATCHED PAIR OF BOOSEY AND HAWKES SYMPHONY 1010 CLARINETS, £1595

A very good condition pair of B&H 1010's which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The instruments have been professionally owned and played by a clarinet teacher in the Bournemouth area, and the pair have seen very light use. The instruments have just had a partial re-pad and thorough check down with Mike Huntriss, ex-Bass Clarinettist of the BSO. These instruments are late examples, featuring the 2nd generation design of Acton patent vent.
The Bb, serial no. 448044, has no cracks or repairs. The Silver plate throughout is in excellent condition. The pads are mainly all "Gordon Beeson" Tan leather pads, in very good condition. The A, serial no. 444662, has no cracks or repairs. The Silver plate throughout is in excellent condition. As with the Bb, it has "Gordon Beeson" Tan leather pads, in very good condition. There are 2 barrels of 64.5mm and 62.5mm. The supplied m'piece is a B&H 1010 No. 3, which is, again, in good used condition. The case is the original in very good condition.
