A matched pair of late B& H Symphony 1010 clarinets which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct.
These instruments were hand selected, new in 1982, by Tom Kelly for a pupil, now a professional player, and
are in exceptionally good condition.
The instruments have very good condition tan leather pads throughout. All are sealing well and will be good for many years to come.
The Bb, matching serial nos. 544024, has no discernable wear to the Silver plate.
There is no damage to the wood, which is in good order throughout,
with no cracks or repairs. There are 2 barrels, one made by Bill Wrathel in ebonite of 62.8mm
and the other an original B&H of 64mm, which has been lined in ebonite, also by Bill Wrathel.
The A, matching serial nos. 516119, is in near mint conditon.
The Silver plate is pristine throughout. Again there are no cracks or damage to the wood.
Like the Bb, the A has 2 B&H ebonite lined barrels, of 63.8mm and 64.1mm.
The supplied m'piece is a B&H 1010 No. 2,
which is in fair used condition, with some discolouration to the ebonite, and ligature scratches.
The case is the original, which is used but in good condition.
