A pair of late B& H Symphony 1010 clarinets which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct.
These instruments have been professionally owned and played in many of Londons leading orchestras.
The instruments have very good condition tan leather pads throughout. All are sealing well and will be good for many years to come.
The Bb, matching serial nos. 536551, has no discernable wear to the Silver plate,
which is in good order throughout.
There is a three pinned crack repair to the upper joint, but the instrument
was played at the highest level for many years afer this repair, in addition, much after market tuning work was
done on the pair to improve both the intonation and response.
There are 2 original B&H barrels, one of 62.8mm
and the other of 63.8mm, the shorter of which has a sealed surface crack.
The A, matching serial nos. 507427, is in excellent conditon.
The Silver plate is pristine throughout. There are no cracks or damage to the wood.
The supplied m'piece is a Fobes, which has been bored out to 1010 dimensions by T W Howarth.
It is in good used condition, with some discolouration to the ebonite, and ligature scratches.
The case is of modern rucksack type, which is in very good condition.
