SELMER SINGLE PIECE FULL BOEHM Bb CLARINET, £995

An extremely rare and unique Selmer Professional full Boehm clarinet, so rare in fact that I have never seen another. This instrument features all the "bells and whistles": articulated C#/G#, low Eb, fork Eb/Bb and alternate LH Ab/Eb lever. The German Silver key work is excellent throughout, with no wear at all. We have just entirely re-padded in double bladder fishskin & the clarinet is sold with our full year's Clarinets Direct warranty. The matching serial nos. are M5708 which dates to the late 1944. There are no cracks or damage to the wood which is in excellent order throughout: It is natural, unstained, Grenadilla of the finest quality. There are 2 supplied barrels of 66.8mm and 64.8mm respectively. The case is the original in good condition, though two supplementary catches have been fitted in addition to the original locks. The m'piece is a Meyer No.4.
