SELMER CENTERED TONE Bb CLARINET

A Selmer Centered Tone Bb clarinet. This instrument is the model most closely associated with Benny Goodman. This example has a banded repaired crack to the upper joint, see photo 5, with the crack running into the 1st trill hole, also the bell has two cracks at 180 degrees to each other.  The keywork is good and  all pieces are original and stamped Selmer. The pads are a mixture of leather and double bladder fishskin, yet this instrument plays and responds superbly: far better than it's condition might suggest!  The matching serial nos. are Q9333 which dates to 1957. The supplied m'piece is a Selmer 10G 1  in fair condition, the case is worn but functional.
