SELMER SERIES 9* Bb CLARINET

An extremely fine Selmer Series 9 *.The 9* was marketed by Selmer as "pour la musique symphonique", the 9 was "pour le jazz et les varietes." The Nickel Silver keywork is excellent with very little plating loss, just the register key and throat G# key.  The Grenadilla wood is in fine condition for an instrument of this vintage, with no cracks or damage. The clarinet has older pads but all are sealing well, and as the workshop is so busy this clarinet is sold "as is" at a bargain price. The clarinet measures  15.10mm at the top of the reverse cone of the upper joint. The matching serial numbers are Y4063, dating to 1974. There are two barrels of 67.5 & 64.5mm. The original case is good.
