SELMER SERIES 9* Bb CLARINET

An extremely fine Selmer Series 9 *.The 9* was marketed by Selmer as "pour la musique symphonique", the 9 was "pour le jazz et les varietes." The Nickel Silver keywork is excellent with no plating loss..  The Grenadilla wood is in very fine condition for an instrument of this vintage, with no cracks or damage. The clarinet has just had a complete overhaul in Pisoni Premium Deluxe double bladder fishskin  pads and is sold with a 1 year Clarinets Direct warranty. The clarinet measures  15.10mm at the top of the reverse cone of the upper joint. The matching serial numbers are Y7887, dating to 1975, which makes this one of the last Series 9*'s made. The case is a  used Protech with integral music pouch  & the mouthpiece a Selmer HS in ebonite.
